If Krivsky is to trade for relief help, he will have to overpay like he did with Majewski and Bray last year. Tough spot to be in.

The Reds would be well in contention if we had a decent bullpen this year. At some point he has to come up to the bigs. Why not try to help? Again, he can't be any worse then our current guys. Early on with the Bats he has good numbers. If he struggles send him back. Can't win the lotto if you don't buy a ticket H.T.
May 8, 200719 yr If he struggles and loses ALL his confidence (Gets sent back down) it might be 5 more years before he comes up there is just no point. He is a started not a reliever. Bray and Majewski will be back the first week of june if not earlier.
May 8, 200719 yr If Milton tanks it on Tuesday, you have to move him somewhere. I'd go ahead and bring up Bailey. This team needs a shot in the arm and Narron isn't a rah-rah in your face kind of manager. A jolt is needed from somewhere or this team will be out of contention by the time they finish the Cleveland series.

I just want us to use all our assets if we are contending. I think he may do decent out of the pen....He seems to be able to pitch 1 or 2 solid innings before it all falls apart. I wouldn't want him to come in, in a inherited runner situation though.

I wouldn't want him to come in, in a inherited runner situation though. It is a risky move by the Reds, but I believe in no risk, no reward. You gotta figure he is on the brink of being in Cincy regardless. Any pitcher in Louisville should know on any given night they may have a bus ticket waiting for Cincy if they are doing well.
