If he's inked a post dated contract, no, if not, probably.

Its not that, what do you get. The end of the signing period is in April!!! So it would be better to already have a deal pretty much done as soon as the season was over, so he could try to make sure he got those kids in time. Its not worth taking the chance to only having a couple of days to try to get it done. I mean no one is questioning how he recruit every year, but as for the next season, it is important to get him here as soon as possible before the end of the signing period. Its really not that hard to understand...

Do you really think all those kids are going to jump ship without seeing who the next coach is especially when it is looking like Donovan? I agree! I hope they don't tick him off so bad that he decides not to do it. For those that don't realize the passion and pressure that goes with this job, I saw this posted on Catspause and it already had over 60,000 views today alone!

The one thing I would love if it is true... can you imagine how much more intense this rivlary with Florida is going to get!

Coaches break contracts all the time. It could have just been verbally agreed upon and nothing signed yet. DB may have let the cat out of the bag too soon.

Also I never once said anything about anyone transfering on this thread. I was talking about recruits, which means people in HIGH SCHOOL. The signing period is only a few weeks away. So yeah even if it only takes a week to work out a contract, it is not worth taking that chance to only having a few days in getting the VERY FEW top recruits out there left before the signing period ends...
