March 26, 200719 yr Hoops machine you are on target my friend. Johnny C couldn't win legally if his life depended on it.
March 26, 200719 yr I might not be familiar but what all leads you guys to believe he would get UK put back on probation? He's been in memphis for quite a while now an they havent had any type of probation or penalties. I guarentee if he came to UK an was winning an they were not in any kind of trouble then everyone would love him. I just dont get why everyone is so hard on him. If not Billy D then Cal would be my pick for coach. I think he would flourish in Lexington, and LEGALLY!
March 26, 200719 yr Let's think about Cal for a minute. Where he is at there is no real pressure to win a title. He already recruits at close to the highest level and his teams are as athletic and talented as anyone in the country. And after all that he's still not able to get his teams where UK fans expect their program to be. Are you thinking that as the pressure goes up he's going to get better? I'm not sure I buy that. I'll go out on a limb and say he'll replace the guy that gets the UK job...

March 26, 200719 yr Cal should have even more talented teams since he usually bags a NBA lottery pick every other year, now those kids will at least have one year in the NCAA's.
March 26, 200719 yr Don't all the big name programs push the envelope and bend the NCAA rules when it comes to recruiting, etc. ? I think and unfortunate few just get caught. That does not mean the others are "clean".
March 26, 200719 yr Scratch Calapari off the list, he says he's not interested in any other job. OK... you've shot down Donvan, Pitino, and Calipari. According to you, is ANYONE interested in the job, or are they gonna have to pay me to do it?
March 26, 200719 yr Scratch Calapari off the list, he says he's not interested in any other job. As did Saben, Petrino, etc, etc, etc. These type of statements have meant very little in the past.
