There are already a couple of posters that have said that they know for sure what's going to happen. Maybe you should just ask them. :sssh:

No coaching experience at the college level. That why I said if he was going to hire those two he would not be gaining anything. He might as well keep the current staff.

I agree there needs to be some MAJOR changes in the asst coaches. However I do not see any of them getting fired, unless they leave on their own, they aren't going anywhere. OTS has too much character and loyalty to force these guys out without them having another job to land on. They may leave on their own and find other jobs to take some heat off of the Tub, but I do not feel he will allow them to just be fired and just scattered to the wind.

I feel pretty good in saying that Rigot and Hanson are gone and Finney will be part of the staff.

Some word out there is that Finney and Hobbs could switch jobs, as it would be less strenuous on Hobbs.

 

Anderson is playing awfully well lately, its hard to believe that would lead him to retire.

 

No chance we would bring on both Anderson and Padgett. It would be one of the two, with Finney, and maybe another depending on Hobbs.

That was true last year, but this year it has to be done.

Is Finney really an upgrade?

 

I felt that Tubby's first staff (Sutton and Finney, in particular) wasn't much to write home about ...

HC = Tubby

AHC = Shaun Finney

AC = TBD

AC = TBD

Team/Staff Advisor = Hobbs

One of the replacements will be Mr. Lucas.

Reggie Hanson is interested in a pos. somewhere in TX or so I was told. I hope he gets out of UK (even thou I lose my hook up). He is a good coach and will do well wherever goes.

OTS should consider hiring Happy Osborne - recruiting guru (coach at Georgetown College)... He works harder than Hobbs, Hansen, Rigot, and Finney combined!

Isn't going to happen, IMO. He wants an NBA job, not college.

 

 

FWIW, I've read a couple of places that Derek Anderson is a serious candidate for one of the 3 open spots this offseason...
