How about the games in Rupp?

Featured Replies

You get OSU, Xavier, Louisville and Texas A&M.

Thsoe four are the potential second round games.

That is a great ticket....may be the best lineup of any of the pods.

Well, according to the desires of some of the TBers as stated in previous threads, it would be a good opportunity for Mitch to interview Gillispie.

Maybe he could tour some horse farms while he is in town.

No way I'm gonna pay the big bucks to see some of these teams play. I would like to get out and see tOSU and UL vs. TA&M but not for the kind of money they want.

Saturday could be special, I'll be there if it's XU/OSU and UL/TA&M.

This is a good list coming into Rupp this week. OSU, A&M . UL is playing very well and capable of beating anyone. Xavier is close and should bring in some good crowds. I haven't made any of my picks yet but imo A&M or OSU should come out of it. One problem that I have with U.L. being in Lexington is that they are approx. 70 miles from Rupp as a 6 seed and A&M is a 3 seed and is at a much longer distance/trip. That to me is not right.

Here is an idea for any U.K. fans that are "not" going to the games ;) . Get out and buy up as many tickets as you are able to then go out and sell them to U.L. fans at a "Premium" price. A student could help finance spring break! :D

:thumb: Or to some other of the bashers, U.K. plays Nova - chance to speak with J. Wright.

It is $50 per session or thats what it said on Ticketmaster.

150 bucks for the pack... ill pass

That seems like a freaking steal. As rltrace said, if Saturday's schedule is UL / Texas A&M and OSU / "X", I may have to matriculate my way down 75 and talk to a guy "needing tickets." That could be a great day of hoops in America's Taj Mahal. :p:D

I agree! Thats a deal. I paid around 120 to a "ticket broker" years ago when UK played in the 1st round in the Coliseum. 150's a steal. Does h.s. stand for Hank Stram??

I too will go find a guy who "needs tickets" to get in. I'm thinking there will be some good deals close to game time.

Will be at Rupp on Thursday and have good seats.

You guys that think $25 per game to watch the NCAA tournament is too much are crazy. Great slate of games and $150 gets you into 6 of them. I'm trying hard to get me and some of my buddies set up down there, don't know if it's gonna happen but $150 is an excellent price.

Is this event sold out?? I know prices on ebay yesterday after the games were announced reached up above $500 for two tickets. I think I'd rather sit at home and watch it for that kind of money.....

I must say, it is a pretty bad draw for Texas A&M if Louisville wins. I mean UL is a 6 seed, and A&M is a 3 seed, yet it will be a home game for UL against them...
