March 4, 200719 yr 1:00 on Thursday the Cats and Tide will kick off the SEC Tournament. Bama is currently down 20+ to Miss St. If this Bama team shows up UK will destroy them. Bama is very talented though and I would have much rather played Auburn. Thoughts?
March 4, 200719 yr Scary game. Cats depressed after playing hard, but being totally outclassed by Florida, and Bama knowing they can beat this UK team. I'll take the Cats in a squeaker. 67-64.
March 4, 200719 yr I agree the easier matchup is Auburn. If UK does get past Bama then I like the draw. Much better than being in the bottom half of the bracket.
March 4, 200719 yr I'd much rather have seen UK match up against Auburn as well. On the plus side, this is not going to be at Alabama, and Alabama has been atrocious outside their home. This game is going to drop them to 1-7 against conference teams on the road. Atlanta may be neutral, but I like to think that it favors UK a little more than Bama. UK will definitely have to play a better game this time, and more importantly, they'll have to finish better than they did at Alabama where they were absolutely AWFUL at the end.
