Bengals release Brian Simmons

How would you feel about a starting LB core of Brooks, Jeanty, and Landon?

Pretty good actually! We would have two big guys in Brooks in Jeanty who can stop the run hopefully, and then a fast linebacker in Landon. Then as GT said depending how we do in the draft, I would really like it...

I like Landon, would like to see more out of him.

Ya know that actually seems ideal to think Landon J. at Will, Brooks at Mike, and Jeanty at Sam....

B Simmons was one of the few leaders on the Bengal's D and to get rid of him makes no sense....

When you can't get off of a block it does. He was overrated.

With Marvin's past, why on Earth would anyone be suprised about this?

Marvin can do nothing under the CBA toward Odell or any other for their transgressions; it is all handled by the league. So to imply Marvin is tolerant of the improper behavior is false.

The only thing he can possibly do in the future, as long as Odell does everything required by the NFL and the courts, is cut him for poor performance after a week or so of evaluation after Odell's return July 11. Until then, it is in the NFL's hands.

You'd hate to let the facts get in the way of a backhanded insult.....

It was a joke relax. there was no insult intended at all.

I like Marvin, and agree with this move.

Somebody check the crack houses in Cincy for odell, he may still have a job.

I know that was silly...

Of course he won't have a job... :D

News media in Cincy are saying this is to have room to sign THE BENGALS FA's and NOT to sign new players.

Daniel Graham and Patrick Ramsey are the two free agent names I've heard the most...

We need a legit tightend in the worst way. I think we could only benefit from having a proven one. Just ask Brady, Rivers, or Peyton if they think a good tightend is a neccessity!
