Professor told you after watching the owls play breathitt last friday that i thought they could beat lee co. And don't be surprise to see estill do the same against powell. Good win for the owls.:thumb:

Great Confidence booster for the owls going into the finals....Trey COngelton and Adam McIntosh really seemed to step up on the offense end and Owls defnse picked up on the other end. Seemed the Owls came prepared.

Hopefully the Estill and Powellll game will be as exciting as this one. CANT WAIT

What?? Owsley cant play a lick..Lee overlooking and not taking them serious got them beat. 39 points agaisnt that defense? Sheww did Lee press any? Owsley dont have a sign of a ballhandler?

Listen you have a right to have an opinion, but Owsley did get beat by Lee by 39 in the previous meeting. But, listen a two point win in district is better than a 39 point win in regular season, bottom line is Owsley moves on and Lee goes home. Owsley had something to prove tonight and that was no one I mean no one was going to walk into the "Palace" and beat them. I agree Lee didn't play there best ball but hey when it comes tourney time your either winning or your one and done. Lee goes home on the short end of the stick. It is apparent that Coach Parrett and staff worked tremendously hard on this game and hopefully will put another district title on the infamous palace walls.:dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa

Hard to believe but the Owls done a wonderful job of controlling the basketball and making plays when needed. Hard to see the Bobcats go this way but those young men who are seniors have had a great career.

Does anyone have the shooting stats for the game? I've said it all year long, if Lee could play at home every game they could win the region, but when they go on the road, they don't play very well at all for some reason. When they lost to Wolfe on the road, I new they would have problems when it came to this tourney. Great job by the Owls, sounds like they controlled the tempo and I heard that when Lee finally got the lead and all the momentum with 4:00 minutes to go in the game, they tried to take the air out of the ball for about 2 minutes just standing at mid court? true or not? If you have scored 6 in a row to finally get the lead, don't sound like a good idea, throw the knockout punch and put the other team out of it. Sounds like they played right into what the Owls wanted them to do. Nice win for the Owls, good luck in the finals and the Region. Anything can happen when teams play at home in the District!
