Jenkins should have won. Until JBS starts playing team ball this is the kind of scores you will see. Not to take nothing away from Jenkins but JBS should beat them by 30 but when two kids take every shot this is what happens

IF you vote Brethitt you should probably vote for Kenneth Neace, former coach at JAckson City, if you watch them play they run much of the same stuff JC used to. Lively? Why, what has Powell done, the returned their whole team from last year and are senior heavy, if they have success next year then give him some nods for coach of the year. Noble has done a quality job at Buckhorn this year but it would be hard for me to vote for a guy that is not going to make it out of district. MY vote would go to AL Holland, one of his worst teams talent wise hes ever had and they are a definite contender. O yeah look at Breathitts schedule, its a joke looks like a JBS schedule from about two years ago. ANd playing that weak schedule will get them sent home early.

I think LCC has quite a few. I thought LCC was really hot coming into the postseason and they had the regional tourney at LCC, guess thats spoiled.

This is ridiculous. IF there gym cant hold it then give it to a school that can, make it fair to the fans. IMO the only place the 14th region should be held is KCC or PCC. Rotate it between the two. IF thats not fair to other schools then they need to build bigger gyms.

Well maybe record wise...but when you look at what matters they are sitting pretty good. They are second in the district with a 4-1 record behind JBS who is 5-0 , Letcher 2-3 , COrdia 1-4, Jenkins, 1-4. SO id say they will be fine come district time.

Going to be a horrible place to hold the region. They gym is new but not going to be able to handle the crowds. They will have to end up clearing the gym between games. The only places they should have it are PCC and KCC.

If he played on a good lexington program he wouldnt start on the freshman team.

D-1 hes an average freshman. I dont think I would put him on an all freshman team in the 14th.

Collins will never be able to do what he can since he never gets his hands on the ball. He might score off an offensive rebound or an inbounds play every now and then. I think you put him on Haz, Perry, Breathitt, or Knott and they would win the region hands down. Hard to guard a legit 6'8" player in this region if he ever gets the ball, a post player would be crazy to go to JBS in the Stepp system of point guard shoots all the shots. Ill take Haz by 6

Knott played them m2m and only one player was in double figures the others didnt hurt them problem is Hicks went off. Guess thats how it goes when he gets hot.

Knott schedule has been brutal but playing these tough games is going to have to pay off sooner or later im taking Knott by 5 61-56

I think the TomCats are going to have a tough time with KCC in the first round of the AIT. Might regret scheduling them for an easy advance.

Both teams are very talented and very solid. I am a KCC fan and may be a little biased but this game could have went either way. A couple calls late in the game espically one when KCC had a lay up to pull within two was called back for stepping on the baseline on the other end. Stepp and Cox played a great game and I think this rematch should be a great one. Anybody know the date??

We should all be thankful that Master of the HArdwood is not an official. First of all he has no clue about the rules of the game or officiating. You are still wrong about the intentional foul call. What rule book are you looking at? The NFHS rule which the KHSAA goes by does not agree with you look it up before you make another reply. And as for the block if the offensive player makes the contact with the defensive player then no foul should be called.

Mason is a one man show. The other four starters are not very talented. YOu could put Miller on any decent team and they would be rated very high, he is that good.

GO read your rule book. THey got the call exactly right. If the shot goes he only gets one shot. If he missed it then he would have gotten two. IF your shooting a three and you get intentionally fouled then you get three shots, if you make it you only get one. THe refs made it look good in the first half and with the game on the line they knew who to put the fouls to. Miller's last three fouls espically the last one were phantom fouls. THe be a master of the hardwood you sure could use a refresher course on the rules of the game. Look it up if you dont agree with me.

JBS is a good team and Mason has a good player. The rest of Mason county's players are very average. I think without Miller they wouldn't win many games.

Kcc won by one after giving up a 17 point lead.
