February 26, 200719 yr Sorry for making it seems that way. I guess I'm kind of singling you out. For no reason, but everyone is so tough on these guys. I cannot imagine the pressure/expectations they must live up to... Thats part of coming to UK, big name school equals big pressure.

February 26, 200719 yr I actually disagree here...when Rick took over the UK fans would take anything deemed as moving towards success, than he made them the #1 program in the land (mid 90's).....the UK fans loved him, and never showed the ire that they do now......Tubby won his first year....and then the demise started....and this is where it lies now. Yeah I agree with that but tubby coaching under Ricky P knew the pressure of winning at UK. He knew what the fans expected. Thats what I was trying to get at.
February 26, 200719 yr If UK loses out and makes the NIT, I propose a boycott of the possible home game by the fans. Wouldn't happen; B/c to most fans it is nothing more then a Social Event any how. It is esp that way now.... they can say " OH I have UK basketball tickets."
February 26, 200719 yr Tubby is not the reason they lost. They play sloppy ball and make stupid turnovers. This could be one of the worst UK teams I have seen in a long time. Tubby is as frustrated with the players as the fans. Jai Lucas is a crucial part of the recruiting class. We need a TRUE point guard that is not afraid to shoot. By the way, how did Jasper average over 20ppg in high school? His confidence in his shot must be very low. I have never been this down on a UK team.
