I thought it would be pretty funny to do this. Yea I think there all capable of being on it, everyone of them....

I thought someone said Capps got hurt. Stewart and Hatfield started late and Burrowes missed some games due to injuries, which pretty much eliminates them. Stewart will get his glory during baseball anyway.

 

Where does Hale play?

 

 

 

Cawood, Idol, Patterson and Allen may have a shot, at least for honorable mention. Cawood was on there last year, I think, so he'll probably make it again on defense.

 

Bell's got a couple of guys (Robbins and Barton) who will get some attention and maybe more.

 

Cawood's Jacob Napier could also get some votes if he can finish in the top 10 in rushing.

 

I'm sure Lawson at Corbin will be a contender for one of the running back spots, and the real good lineman at Rockcastle (Leger) will probably make it.

 

Hundley is a good quarterback and so are Tucker and Draughn in south central Kentucky, but that's the toughest position to make all-state. No one is going to beat out Brohm for first team, and Cantwell and Grutza received a lot of attention when the season started.

Yea Capps got hurt but he will be back for the KCC game in 2 weeks were off this week. We needed this off week to get some of our injured players back for the last 3 games left in District play... Alex Hale plays WR and I think DB, he broke up some good passes that Corbin threw, I was very pleased at how he played Friday night, I think it was his best performance...

Either there's a serious coaching problem in Middlesboro, or eastboy needs to get out of the mountains every now and then.

Actually back in 1983 or 1984 Somerset had 12 or 13 all-staters if you include honorable mention in that category.

Hatfield stated one game late. if not his linemen posisition,he is the best punter i have seen or heard of this year. does anyone know of anyone else that is a punter.

All these players either will have the name/stats to earn Honorable Mentions on the all state team except Dress and Wera could be both earn a spot on the teams.

 

Its awful early, but out of this list maybe one right now the Smith kid from NCC. There is only one kid on this list that will play D-1 ball and that's SESTER.

I think Nevels will be offered D1 scholly's by someone next year because of his Speed, and agressivness. IMO

If your trying to say that I don't get out of the mountains you have that totally wrong, bud. I probably get out of the state more than you do. Bottom line East side fans I think this guy is pretty much jealous that his west side teams are no comparison to our great East teams. By the way I would like to see your team play Bell Im sure they can't beat them. Look below:
