Head Coach Jay Cobb and the Trinity Shamrocks will return to Marshall Stadium Friday to face the Baylor School Red Raiders out of Tennessee. This is the game many in Rock Nation have talked about since the Trinity schedule was released last winter. Both teams are ranked in the Top 30 in multiple national polls

The Shamrocks improved their record to 3-0 after defeating Cincinnati Moeller 31-14. Baylor also moved to 3-0 on the season with their win at Rabun Gap (GA). This will be the first meeting on the gridiron between Trinity and Baylor.

In Fridays win over the Crusaders, the Shamrocks played physical football with RB JB Berry rushing for 112 yards and 2 TDs. QB Zane Johnson threw for 171 yards and a TD. The Trinity defense once again stood tall all night, keeping Moeller to only 2 scores.

Head Coach Eric Kimrey brings his reigning Tennessee Division 2-AAA state champions to town with one of the most talked about high school football players in the country- RB David Georges. Georges is the #1 or #2 rated RB in the USA, depending on the rating service. He has offers from all the big boy programs you can imagine. And the talent does not stop there. Watch for these names Friday.....all 4 star recruits in their own right. QB Keegan Croucher, DE Braxton Rein and WR Cornbread Adams.

Both teams have been able to light up the scoreboard so far this season offensively. Both teams have strong defenses and impressive special teams.

Can Trinity bottle up Georges and the Baylor running game? Can Baylor stop the Shamrocks offensive firepower and mix of run/pass?

I'll go with Trinity by 3. Both teams will be hard to stop on offense. Probably comes down to has least turnovers.

I'm not going against Trinity, but that Baylor offense is going to be a handful. As stated above, they've got more than just the superman running back. It will likely come down to how Baylor's offensive line handles the vaunted T defense.

According to Trinity, there will not be any tickets sold at the gate. They expect a sellout. Go Fan is the best and option if you do not already have tickets.

#1 in Tennessee. Depends on which national poll but I've seen anywhere from 6 to 38.

Trinity fans have a new way to watch the Rocks!

Beginning September 1, Trinity games will stream on the new WDRB+WAVE platform. Here is how to make sure you are ready to watch:

Current WDRB+ users will receive an automatic app update around September 1 that will transition the app to WDRB+WAVE. Once updated, select Live Sports from the list of streams (photo above) at the top of the home page to watch Trinity games.

Fire TV

Fire TV users will need to download the new WDRB+WAVE app from the app store. Current WDRB+ users should receive a prompt beginning September 1 with information about making the switch.

Mobile Devices

The current WDRB+ mobile app will no longer be available. Download the WDRB+WAVE News app on your phone, select Live at the bottom of the screen, and then choose Live Sports from the available streams.

The Live Sports stream will feature Trinity Athletics along with Louisville City FC.

I would love for Trinity to pull this one off. I just think Gabriel-Georges and the rest of the Baylor squad will be too much for Trinity.

I will say this, if Trinity wins this one just go ahead and mail the 6A state title to them because they won't be tested like they have been by anyone in Kentucky outside of maybe Freddie D.
