Tigerpride94... come on over to Rock Nation. You seem to post more about us than you do St. X. We have room on the Championship bandwagon. Go Rocks.

Haha, I cover both and St. X on bye week this week plus this is massive game. My father-in-law went to Trinity plus have friends went to Trinity, but I will stick with the Tigers.

When was this? Didn't he go to Owensboro?

Trinity played a team from the Dayton Ohio area 20 some odd years ago, Chaminade Julienne (sp) that had a superstar or 2 if I'm not mistaken. And then there was a PA. team, Imohtep Charter?, that had some big time kids. And a team from Miami FL. that almost didn't make the trip due to a hurricane, Champagnat.

Javon Ringer is the RB from Chaminade-Julienne...I thought we locked down pretty much everyone from Imhotep and Champagnat but yeah they had some decent players...Lorenzen is a bad miss by me...When did we play Boiman @TSR83 ??

Late '90's, I believe. He was a safety then, if memory serves, thinking he may have returned a punt or kickoff for a TD against us...

1983 4-A State Championship Game, he scored their only TD late in first half on a long run & lost a shoe at the line of scrimmage, & we still couldn't catch him!

September 10, 2004.

22 years ago today.

Trinity defeated Chaminade Julienne 43-29

Before your time at Rock Heaven. 1983 state Championship game at Fairgrounds Stadium. Higgs ran out of his shoe on a long touchdown jaunt. Yes, he played for Owensboro.

A few more that spring to mind:

Rocky Boiman - Cincy X

Jared Lorenzen / Brett Hamblen - Highlands

Tendai Charasika - Lou X

It was Gino Guidugli (current ND QB's coach), not Jared for Highlands.

His senior season was 1997, so 96 or 97?
