February 12, 200719 yr Uk won down there last year with a team not as good. I think they do it again. Unless Lofton shoots the same percentage as the guy in Dfenz avatar Man, once you start hittin', they just keep comin'! I'm in a zone right now and can't stop. If I quit to take a drink or go to the bathroom, it'll throw off my concentration and I'll miss. So, I have to keep shootin' and shootin'. I will admit my arm is a little tired.
February 12, 200719 yr I am worried about this game but I think that we will be so upset with the UF game that we will take our frustrations out on Tennessee. UK 77 UT 68
February 12, 200719 yr My major concern with this game is that it's only three days after the loss to Florida. Hopefully they come out focused and don't dwell on what might have been in that game.
February 12, 200719 yr I think the big question is about Lofton's ankle? Is he really and truly 100%?
February 12, 200719 yr I think the Florida game will have a positive effect on UK. I don't think this UT team matches up well with UK. I'll take UK 78-70.

February 12, 200719 yr If Tubby Hits all of his 3s Makes his Free throws I look for the cats to get a W.   I will say: U.K. - 78 Rotten Flop - 71
February 13, 200719 yr I think the big question is about Lofton's ankle? Is he really and truly 100%? No, he's not. People were talking about his injury and they say it's a high ankle sprain, and the bone is bruised. They are saying it could be over a month before he is 100%, but he won't let that stop him. The kid has heart, and I think that he'll explode this game like he has every other time TN has met with UK.
February 13, 200719 yr ^ For future reference...there is actually nothing called a bone bruise. In reality these said "bone bruises" are small fractures of the outer layers of the bone, called the cortex. They may hurt or be painful for 8-12 weeks. That makes it difficult for a sprained ankle to validate a "bone bruise".
February 13, 200719 yr I think UK should try to do what they did last year vs. UT at Thompson Bowling Arena. UT will press more at home, so I think UK really needs to push the ball and attack the basket. If we do that good things will happen. Also, defensively we need to keep JaJuan Smith and Lofton from going off.

That's what he put up the last time he played UK, at home, and uninjured.
