I don't think one has anything to do with the other.  Additionally, Beechwood should be excellent this year and Mayfield looks on the verge of being a 2nd tier 2A team.

The administration was not planning a cake and party hats for a going away party. Putting the school, coaching staff, and players in an uncertain atmosphere with practice 2 weeks away was something they wanted to avoid. The wheels started turning the day after the announcement, correct.  

I wish Coach Volker nothing but the best and thank him for his 4 years in tiger town. I am happy he found a situation that is beneficial to him and his family and he will do a great job at his next stop!

He was never supposed to stop coaching, but he retired as teacher at bw and then a chain reaction of events led to Rash taking an Admin job outside of bw district.. meaning he could no longer be the head coach at bw... hmmm sounds familiar...

True. But a Rash vs. Morris matchup would be grand especially if it was at Kroger for all the marbles.

But adding Rash back for me almost 99% lock them at #1 Preseason in my opinion.
