Starting defensive tackles? We know Lawrence will be one of the starters. Will BJ Hill or Jonathan Allen be the 2nd starter?

Nope. I would have been happy with either Bains or Downs. However, they got a guy who is proven and should help them win even more right now.

It is a good problem to have.  I think we will see a rotation and spitballing I will go with BJ Hill as the second starter.

From Google on the Bengals UDFAs:

2026 Undrafted Free Agent (UDFA) Signings

Jamal Haynes (RB, Georgia Tech).
Isaiah Nwokobia (S, SMU).
Eric Gentry (LB, USC).
Ceyair Wright (CB, Nebraska).
Corey Robinson II (OT, Arkansas).

Dingle is already their best linebacker lol.

Only the Bengals would have the self proclaimed QB and receivers and miss the playoffs 3 years in a row maybe 4 in a row lol!

False.

Below are 8 other teams who have self proclaimed QBs and receivers that have missed the playoffs the past 3 seasons.

Team Last appearance in post-season Seasons
New York Jets ^ 2010 AFC Championship 15
Atlanta Falcons 2017 NFC Divisional 8
Indianapolis Colts 2020 AFC Wild Card 5
New Orleans Saints 2020 NFC Divisional 5
Las Vegas Raiders 2021 AFC Wild Card 4
Arizona Cardinals 2021 NFC Wild Card 4
Tennessee Titans 2021 AFC Divisional 4
New York Giants 2022 NFC Divisional 3

Steelers cannot be on this because as of now and just like at this time last year they have no self-proclaimed QB?. At least by not making the playoffs we draft higher. We could be like them and make the playoffs and get embarrassed 30-6 by the Texans (2025) 28-14 (2024) Ravens, 31-17 (Bills), 42-21 (2021) Chiefs, and 48-37 2020) Browns.

So, when you look at it against the Steelers in the past 6 seasons. The Bengals have not made the playoffs in 4 of those 6 so they get higher draft picks. Do you know in the past 6 seasons from 2020-2025 the Bengals have actually played two more total games as well as 2 more post season games than the Steelers have.

So not only have the Bengals got better draft picks than the Steelers have they have played more games more post season games and have won 5 times as many post season games over that 6 year stretch as the Steelers have. Also, the Bengals 2 losses were only by 5 and 3 points. While the Steelers 5 losses in the Wild Card Round (they did not make the playoffs in 2022) were all by double digits lol (24, 14, 14, 21, 11) that is an average of almost 17 points per loss in the WC Round. 16.8 to be exact. For someone that seems to be so worried about the Cincinnati Bengals should probably look in the mirror about the recent and current Pittsburgh Steelers. ?‍♂️?

Bengals 2026 home opponents:

Baltimore Ravens

Cleveland Browns

Pittsburgh Steelers

Jacksonville Jaguars

Kansas City Chiefs

New Orleans Saints

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tennessee Titans

Bengals 2026 away opponents:

Baltimore Ravens

Cleveland Browns

Pittsburgh Steelers

Atlanta Falcons

Carolina Panthers

Houston Texans

Indianapolis Colts

Miami Dolphins

Washington Commanders

I would say barring injuries I would say 12-5 or 11-6.

Looks like some reasonable close away games for possible road trips.

Bengals still have failed to upgraded the weakest part of their defense the linebackers. They will struggle on defense.

The weakest part of the bengals defense was the defensive line. That part has been addressed, with that said linebacker is now the weakest.
