I was hoping the bye would be after the Spain trip.  Later bye and after a world traveling game.  I was also hoping to get KC early in the season, while Mahommes might still be rusty.  You never know with the NFL but overall this is a winnable schedule in my eyes.

Nope. I would have been happy with either Bains or Downs. However, they got a guy who is proven and should help them win even more right now.

We do get KC during a super tough stretch for the Chiefs.

We also got the Chiefs in December back when the Bengals made the Super Bowl.

If the Bengals and Ravens can have good seasons, and go into the game with all star players healthy. That New Years Eve primetime game, will be a crazy environment. Probably very similar to the Bengals/Bills environment which was the best environment I had been at with how amped up the stadium was, before Hamlin accident.

I was watching at home and you could feel the energy overflowing.

Some are predicting the Bengals to make the AFC Championship. Let's have a great year and make the playoffs first. Injuries can happen, like last year, albeit the bad D, and the season ended early.

Injuries can happen to any team, and if injuries happen to Allen, Mahomes, Jackson, etc then their chances of AFC Championship or better are gone too. So yes not accounting possible injuries, it is good to see the Bengals talked about as one of the favorites in the AFC.

I read somewhere that the Bengals are predicted to win 15 of their games. The heat is on JB9 and the squad to get things done. No slow starts.

You mean like a few inches away from where you posted this?

The Bengals under Zac Taylor have been slow starters. The first two games are playoff quality teams. Then game 3 is the Steelers and game 4 is another playoff team in the Jaguars. For a team with high expectations, they will get a chance to show in those 4 games what they have.

0-7 to start.

I have a good feeling about this year, assuming Joe stays healthy.
