Dude right there. Go tear it up in Nashville- glad he is going there. 

Hampton over 2000 rushing yards on year and 31 TD’s (3 more receiving).

Congratulations to Owensboro for bringing the only state championship to western Kentucky again Congratulations are given and so proud of Owensboro. 

Going all the way back to all the questions about OHS’s hiring practices and how long it took and everyone questioning the hire… guess those questions are answered now. I couldn’t be happier for Coach Ganaway in his first season. Shoutout to all the Devils fans here who finally get some due! This team was 4-5 TD better than anyone in 5A. That’s crazy to me. To the folks that are expecting a fall off without Hampton, I think you’ll be sadly mistaken. Feels more like OHS is about to go on run to me. Congrats Devils!!

 

 

Shout-out to this brute, who played all over the line of scrimmage this year. Inside and out, blocking and tackling. Muster was a cornerstone of the Devils championship run.

The whole time watching this game, I got to thinking about, IMVHO the often overused statement "The game will be won up front."

Yeah...not so much.

When two teams are equal in the SPEED/PLAYMAKER department? Yes. Heck even if one team has a slight advantage in those areas? Yes.

However, when it's (SPEED) not even comparable? Who is better up front has absolutely zero relevance (and, FWIW, while both teams were very solid up front? I thought Pulaski was actually just slightly better in that department).

Congrats to Owensboro & Coach Ganaway/staff....as well as Pulaski County & Coach Burns. Needless to say, I think these two programs are going to have more to say about 5A in the years to come than they have on a regular basis as is.
