      I'll go with Cov Cath in a close one. Basically a toss up game that could go either way. This is a big 2nd round game with a heavyweight being eliminated early.

    They spike it to stop the clock with 1 second remaining.

    3rd and 7 Johnson Central on the 11 yard line.

    The first half. Wow. Johnson Central holds Cov Cath's offense to 1 yard in the first quarter on two 3-and-out drives, and scores twice to go up 14-0.

    Then Cov Cath answers with 3 touchdowns on their only 3 plays in the second quarter to take a 21-14 lead at the half.

    The run on second down was borderline coaching malpractice.  I know they don't throw well, but frankly, they were fortunate that a strong stiff arm allowed them to get out of bounds on first down.  

    Congratulations to the Colonels! I picked them to win but I thought it was going to be very close, which was obviously the case. I’m typically not as strong as others on strength of schedule, but this might have been the difference between the Colonels winning and losing tonight. Johnson Central is a very good football team. And if it wasn’t known already, 4A CLEARLY has the most talented football teams in the state.
