The #9 ranked Kentucky Wildcats take the 60-mile trip west on I-64 to take on the #11 ranked Louisville Cardinals. This is the first time both teams have both been ranked since December of 2016. It should be a good one a great early matchup for both teams. The game will be on ESPN Tuesday night at 8:00pm. Go Cats!!

Someone had to pick the Cards. Not sure it will happen, but at least it won’t be a goose egg on the voting.

It's early, but IMO the worst part is that it's on a Tuesday night. 

I think for Louisville it comes down to shooting threes. If they shoot well they can win. I don't think Louisville has a better frontcourt so if aren't hitting threes it will be tough to win. Pomeroy ratings have Louisville by 1 so should be competitive game.

Yep. I hate it. This should be a Christmas game! 

I saw Pomeroy ratings now have Kentucky #1 and projection shows Kentucky winning by 1 over Louisville. Louisville is ranked #11.

Until Louisville beats UK in basketball, there’s no reason to pick them. 

UK wins by 13.

It’s stupid that this game is being played as early as it is. I know it’s been going on for a little bit but still shouldn’t be played this early.

Louisville is a 3.5-point favorite tomorrow, which feels about right.

I put so little value into games this early in the season. 

I don't buy hopeful for a minute. He's not sitting this game out.
