Cards have shot the ball very well from deep. But Kentucky has also struggled defending the shots around the rim. Moreno is still getting acclimated to college ball, Garrison is hit or miss. Cat's could really use Quaintance but he is still out for a few more weeks.

The Cats have answered back with an 8-0 run to cut the lead to 47-40with 2:11 left in the half.

Halftime. Cards 53-46. Barn burner. Defense need not apply.

    I like the fight the Cats showed here late in the half win or lose. A big basket by Brown to end the half and the Cards led 53-46. Brown is one heck of a player!

    @FrankNicodemusgot it correct. Down 18 to down 5 at half. Our shooters can’t shoot but some how the Cats are very much in it. 

    This first half had me thinking of this fight scene.  Everyone was about to count UK out with a blowout and then they came back….

    Need a heck of a halftime speech Pope and LET’S GO CATS!!!

    Aberdeen's shot is NOT esthetically pleasing, but he made some big ones to close out the half.
