Ryle is definitely getting "lucky" on Friday. Their opponent won't be anywhere "neer" them on the scoreboard. Raiders by 30+.

Funny, if my math is correct, those seniors played Fryman 11 times over the years and went 11-0. 

Ryle played without starting LB (Workman), DE (Gay) and DB/WR (Lyons) vs Great Crossing. I’m hearing at least 2 will be back vs SK. If so, that will be the healthiest they’ve been since the CovCath game. 

Last year’s game was very embarrassing for SK. I suspect (and hope) this game will be closer but seeing the score of SK vs CC I’m not sure it will be. 

Ryle’s running game of Savage and Anness is dialed in. Passing game looked better vs Great Crossing now that Lee isn’t playing with one hand.

Savage and Workman are great run stoppers. If SK is relying on the run they’ll be in trouble. Harris is a great WR, but Lee hasn’t given up a catch all year and has 5 INT. JR safety Kincaid leads 6A in INT’s. 

Again, I think a healthy Ryle is a matchup nightmare for SK.

Maxpreps ratings show Ryle better by 16.

Incorrect Fryman repeated his Freshman year or 8th grade year during Covid. It might have been 7th grade.

Peewee and middle school is one thing and High school is another.

Beechwood won the scrimmages vs. Ryle last year and year before last.

 

I think SK puts up a fight, but at the end of the day I think Ryle puts up some points on the long rifles.

Incorrect. Ryle's current senior class played him every up to 8th grade, most years multiple times. He played up as a Frosh his 8th grade (after being held back) and Ryle won w/out Savage fairly easily.

Everyone, Fryman doesn't have anything to do with Ryle and Simon, please focus on this game.

Both teams will want to win badly to basically insure two home playoff games. I hope the cannon operator is ready to rock Borland Stadium with solid play by Ryle on both sides of the ball. It will be a great fall night for football. Go Raiders!

I don't think anyone in 6A wants to see a healthy version of this Ryle team.  If you look at their losses, probably the Cooper one is the one you would want over with Ryle having been hit with the injury bug, but certainly the losses to CAL and Highlands made this team better.  If one thing surprises me about this year's Ryle team is their overall lack of big play/chunk plays.  I am sure it has increased in the last few weeks, but they seemed to be a mauler team.  If they can combine explosion with the ability to maul you... again, no one in 6A not named Trinity wants to meet them.
