Well you need to start wearing them.

Ryles's defense is vastly better than Simon Kenton's defense ranked #4 in 6A. Will be tough for Simon Kenton to score and keep up with Ryle's scoring.

Right and T smacked Dixie when they played in the state championship game and that was a really good Dixie football team.

GC who is terrible ran for 281 yards on Ryle.

Luke Ballard is a top 3 running back in KY. Everyone around him is terrible yes, but he is a special talent.

I think having him at wildcat QB made their offense way more potent than it ever was this season.

So you must be saying the Pioneers defense is really good they bottled him up on 22 carries 97 yards 0 tds.

That should make it pretty simple.

In that case Ryle will have their ha ds full with Webb and Brown running! They are 100 times better than what GC has.

4.5 YPC isn’t bottled up imo. Besides that, when you have a terrible offensive line to be blunt, it doesn’t matter how good the back is.

For example, vs Scott County Ballard rushed for 182 on 29 = 6.3 YPC.

We admittedly have a very weak run defense this season as they’re all underclassmen. Despite this, one long run padded his stats, as Ballard was locked up all game. We also hit Ballard in the backfield most runs as I’m sure you guys did as well. He would still drag us for 3-4 yard gains!

GC just has a young, inexperienced group on that O-line unit and they don’t block for their star one bit. I mean even his highlight run vs Ryle he got no support from his boys.

In conclusion, your defense doesn’t have to be good to stop him unfortunately. It’s an 11v1 and he still finds a few plays a game to win that matchup!

He ran all over the self proclaimed best defense ever of Ryle.

Hopefully we have perfect weather for this great game Friday!

Out of wildcat it’s much easier for him to get going. Out of pistol or any other formation they had been running, that second it takes the ball to travel from the center to the QB, then to him the D-line was often times already in the backfield.

If they already know who’s getting the ball, GC eliminating that second gives Ballard the ability to immediately go down hill and start bruising the defense, not the other way around.
