The Ads have been many peoples feel good story of the year so far. After going two straight seasons winless, they are now 7-1 and playing for a district championship. While none of their wins have been over extremely talented teams, they are still wins nevertheless. Jayvian Meaux leads the way on the ground with over 1000 yards so far this season.

LCA sits at 3-3, but their losses are to Boyle, CAL, and Franklin County. They are battle tested and never duck a challenge. The Eagles look to end the feel good story of Danville and win the district at home this Friday.

Who takes this one?

Biggest thing I'd like to see in this game is the Ads hang around.  They don't have the weapons LCA has but I just want to see a good amount of fight.  I'm sure they will have that on Friday night.

  • I get the administration at Danville was the reason for the Ads sports programs falling off a cliff, but the job Stonebreaker has done is phenomenal. Losing 20 games in a row to 7-1 is insane. I took

Here is how the TP94 Power Ratings see it:

Lexington Christian    63.76
Danville         39.23

Danville surely looks like they are headed in the right direction with players, culture and community excitement.   That won't help much this week.  LCA should win pretty big.

LCA all day long in this one...Like to see Danville put up a good performance and take another step in the right direction though but LCA is battle tested...

LCA is 4-3.

The Danville RB is very impressive, specially for a freshman. I see LCA dominating this one but the future is bright for Danville.

I see LCA having their way in this one. The Ads will stick around for a half or so, but, LCA pulls away in the 2nd half.. 42-14.

I don’t know what to think yet. Apart of me wants to say LCA via running clock but I’m just not sure where Danville is right now. I pray it’s not. I love seeing Danville back in the mix of things. Let’s hope I’m wrong on the point total.

Give me LCA by 28+ points.

LCA 35-13.

That’s kind of where I’m leaning. I’m thinking 3rd quarter or early 4th.

Meaux is special but they've not played a team up front that's going to get after them like LCA.

A good measuring stick to see where Danville really is at in the maturation process, much improved-very young- probably still a couple years away from being competitive in these type games, running clock in the 3rd or earlier. Like I always say a bad game with penalties and turnovers- anything can happen...
