Yep & some already have...namely Auburn and Florida.   Auburn never should have fired Gus Malzahn & Florida needs to start looking in the mirror themselves.  Dang I was pulling for Billy Napier there. I think they were going to flip the switch just like they started doing the back half last season.  He's just a likeable dude.

His teams at Louisiana were always solid and in his previous years as an assistant was well respected. I learned a long time ago that it's about right place and right time. With NIL and the portal the time nor place may never become correct.

I also think it would be funny to see what would happen if Urban Meyer were to try his hand at the college game again (looking at Florida or Penn St.). I wonder if his coaching style would work in todays college game with NIL and the transfer portal.

If Florida St. opens up, I think that could be an incredible fit for Stein.

Memphis Coach Ryan Silverfield is rumored to have accepted the Arkansas job. He will finish season at Memphis, if rumors are true.

 

 

A lot of noise about Kiffin to LSU tonight. Ole Miss evidently gave him an ultimatum to either sign extension or leave. Lane Kiffin may have just coached his last game for Ole Miss. Ole Miss leadership has said if he signs elsewhere he will not coach the Egg Bowl or playoffs.

This is the kinda drama I'm here for!

John Sumrall canceled a meeting with Florida today. That's kinda shocking when Florida is definitely a top 20 job in the country and could easily be a top 10 job. 

Thoughts are he's probably heading to Auburn, due to his ties to the state. The carousel just keeps on spinning...who knows where it stops.
