That seals it. Ryle wins big!

  • I know, quoting myself but after a lot of thought I feel the same way.  In a real game this probably would have been a Ryle running clock or close to one.  Before anyone from Beechwood gets fired up a

  • Because he’s 6’3, 215 with a strong arm and clean mechanics. Colleges care very little about high school production.

As a Beechwood fan I am glad we scrimmaged Ryle and do not play them in the regular season because I think the Raiders are a bridge too far for the Tigers this year.

I still remember the butt whippin we got in regular season when Hergott was a 1st year senior from Beechwood. So the chest thumping should be muted from us Ryle folks. JMHO. It's just a scrimmage.

Hergott was a man among boys and arguably the greatest player ever to suit up for the Tigers.

On Ryle, I agree the Raiders should be muted, your goal is beating Trinity, the rest of it is all noise.

We have had some great ones suit up for the Tigers. We were blessed to have played with some great players.

Not sure how your butt whoopin vs Beechwood years ago is relevant to this discussion. That was a below average Ryle team that won just a few games vs one of the best Beechwood teams ever.

Isn’t everything in a chat room just all noise, though?

Someone in a bad mood. It's fun to bring up the past, and be able to laugh at yourself a little.

I feel like people have totally forgotten just how good Brandon Berger was...

he seems very timid in the pocket, they better care about that.

He was a very special athlete having played against him and on his team. Good guy too!

Fryman is a special athlete, let's not forget he should be a senior. It will be interesting to see the path he takes as he has many mnay options.

A good hard scrimmage is good for your team. This scrimmage will make Bwood better in the long run. If no injuries then the scrimmage did it's job.

Yes teh purpose of a scrimmage is to get some live reps and stay healthy. After that who cares.

His pocket awareness looks pretty good here? Quite literally the first 3 plays he displays good movement/awareness.
