February 3, 200719 yr Big win for the Cats, they are getting tremendous play from Bradley and Meeks....scary for next year...the thorn in UK's side is the play of Morris and Perry, one of them HAS TO GET FIRED UP...there are some monster games ahead, that require them to play well to win.
February 3, 200719 yr Nice win after being down 14 points in the second half. Great game by Jodie Meeks and Bradley. Morris played well and Sheray gave us some quality minutes today. He had atleast 7 points and a few rebounds.
February 3, 200719 yr Any win on the road in conference, in February, is a good win. No matter how you get it.
February 3, 200719 yr I was really worried when the 'Cats were down 12, but they showed a good effort and dug out of it. Big win for the 'Cats. Any road win is a good one.
February 3, 200719 yr I don't think a game where the final score is 82-74 can be considered "disgusting", but that's just me.
February 3, 200719 yr I like the way Meeks played today! You can't say enough about him! Good effort by Morris and Bradley! I really wish that Crawford would step it up another level!
February 3, 200719 yr Author Cats have 8 point lead with 6 minutes to go in first half and cough it up. Razorbacks go up 14 in second half but UK roars back. Crawford, Bradley, Meeks and the solid play of Sheray Thomas ignite the charge. Big difference in second half was turnovers and rebounding, in which UK won, especially the turnover battle which they were able to convert TO's into quick baskets, particularly by Meeks. Meeks was HUGE. Getting some steals and converting them into points. He has a consecutive streak of roughly 25 straight free throws. Bradley caught fire in the second half especially behind the arc. Crawford was solid as well. Sheray finished with 6 boards and 3 assists including a couple of key putbacks. Down side. Morris's inconsistent play. Arkansas shot 50%+ from the field. Patrick Beverly is going to be a nice player. Origninally verballed to Toledo, and his coach told him he could do better. Next night he goes for 40 and the offers start rolling in. All in all a huge win. SC up next and then you likely have the #1 team in the nation rolling into Rupp Arena. Guess we won't hear to much chirping about style of play after this one. It is all about making shots...it covers some many warts.
February 3, 200719 yr I like the way Meeks played today! You can't say enough about him! Good effort by Morris and Bradley! I really wish that Crawford would step it up another level! Crawford is leading the conference in scoring in SEC games.
