Haliburton was mad corny with the choking thing. Bro’s been thinking about doing that all week and pulled it out at the first possible opportunity. He’s gonna be meme’d into oblivion by New Yorkers when the Pacers lose the series.

I thought the same thing, even though he's been incredible all playoffs. Felt like more of a Game 5 thing, but to each his own!

Clippers hold on for the win over Denver to send that series to a game 7 in Denver.

  • Brunson leads the Knicks on to Round 2 vs the Celtics with a sick crossover move and a three.

It was on brand as he has one of the worst reputations in the league. Most see him as a major tool.

He's living up to it. LOL

Saw an article that said this years playoffs have been the most watched since 2011. Great news for the NBA since the regular season was not so great.

I never know what those numbers mean with viewership taking on all different forms in today's media landscape. I also saw that the WCF Game 1 was down 25%. So, who knows?

Here I go again. Did the Knicks choke? Or did the Pacers play outrageously well for the last couple minutes and earn that win?

Historic collapses can't happen without some combination of both. For example, NY makes one of the two FTs they miss at the end of regulation (84.2% and 85.3% FT shooters), the game doesn't go to OT. Neismth went nuclear, but a couple of his looks were because of poor defense.

At this point a good amount of the NBA season feels like exhibition and then the real play happens in the playoffs.

It is two different sports. The level of physicality they allow in the playoffs is comical.

Timberwolves 143 Thunder 101

Another result that makes me question the integrity of the game.

Pacers should win tonight!

I hope so.

What a game by Halburton tonight to give the Pacers control in this series. Here was his stats tonight in 38 minutes of playing time he had 32 points, 15 assists, 12 rebounds, and 0 turnovers. He had a +18 for the game. He is only the 3rd person in NBA history to have 30+ points, 15 assists and 10+ rebounds. The other two are Oscar Robinson, and Nikola Jokic who's done it twice.

The Thunder mollywhopped the Timberwolves last night to advance to the Finals. Maybe they go down in the Finals, but we are witnessing one of the greatest teams of all time. Their average margin of victory at home during the playoffs is 25.67 points. That would be like an NFL team winning its home playoff games by an average of 40. During the regular season, OKC led the league with 68 wins (record is 73), and now owns the highest point differential per game in NBA history. That ain't nothing.
