Florida has been really good and played a great tournament. I would not be surprised whatsoever to see the Gators in the Final Four.

They were my pick to win this SEC tournament.

Florida is leading Tennessee 52-39 with 14 minutes to play.

The Vols have it down to single digits at 54-45 at the under 12 media timeout.

The Vols making a run as Florida went back up by 13 at 58-45 and now Tennessee has cut it down to 60-55 with 8:56 to play. Coach Barnes went to a small lineup and it is working currently.

The Gators are going to win as they have now pulled away again by 10 with a minute to play.

Florida wins the SEC Tournament Championship by defeating Tennessee 86-77. They probably won't get it but I think a strong argument can be made for the Gators to be the overall #1 seed in my opinion.

Agreed! 

I made this post in the UK coaching search thread last year. While it was true it would have been tough to go with Golden, with him still being unproven at the time. UK ended up going with an unproven guy anyways in Pope. Which I still think Pope is going to do good things here. However, man what Golden has done and how he has Florida playing is impressive.

They clearly are at this point in my opinion. I believe that Florida and St. John’s are the two current best in that order.
