16thBBall Fan Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 Final. A big and great win for Coach Pope and the Cats! 2 1
DragonFire Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 Big road win for Kentucky, one they really needed to improve their seed. Now, Kentucky cannot be worse than the 7 seed. They turn their attention to Baton Rouge and to Gainesville. If LSU wins (unlikely IMO) and Florida wins (more likely than not), Kentucky would be the 5 seed. If only one of them wins, Kentucky is the 6 seed. If both lose, then Kentucky is the 7. 1
Jumper_Dad Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 UK will either be a #6 or #7 seed in Nashville. #5 is possible but it would mean LSU would have to beat A&M, that ain't happening. I think if Florida beats Ole Miss, UK gets the #6 and the #7 if Ole Miss wins.
futurecoach Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 Great win by Pope and the Cats today! Missouri still scored over 80, however I feel like the last two games have been two of the most complete games by the Cats on both ends of the court this year. Missouri is a good offensive team, and the Cats made it tough on them all game. You always want to see your team playing its best come tournament time, and hopefully these last two games is a sign that this team is starting to play its best at the right time! 3
Breds82 Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 What a great win today. Jack Givens said they would need at least 10 from the freshmen and they showed up, Chandler mainly. Free throws helped. Down side is the silly turnovers, especially on inbounds plays.
bugatti Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 You shoot 55% from behind the arc you’re going to win a lot of games. Awesome way to finish out the regular season for the Cats. Now, on to the postseason. This could go on for two games or several more.
bugatti Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 Another game lasting two and a half hours. What are we doing here? NBA games are normally right at 2 hrs 15 minutes and they play 8 more game minutes.
Jumper_Dad Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 Kentucky could possibly face either Tennessee or Alabama in their second game if they advance. Would you rather try to beat Tennessee for a third time or play Alabama that has beaten you twice already?

16thBBall Fan Posted March 9, 2025 Author Posted March 9, 2025 Coach Pope and this year's Wildcats have set a record for Kentucky basketball today with their 8th win over a top 15 ranked team. They also tied the NCAA record as well. 1
Jumper_Dad Posted March 9, 2025 Posted March 9, 2025 We are going to get the #6 seed and face winner of Oklahoma/Georgia in the late game Thursday night. UK would then likely face Alabama if the win their first game, which is in no way a lock. If Florida doesn't blow an 18 point lead in the last 4 minutes.

Chandler was better overall but Noah and Perry both hit big threes early when the offense was struggling to get going. 1
