I know South Carolina isn't good, but that was the lowest score Kentucky has held a team to all season outside of the game against Brown. 

I told my better half it would be 92-68.

They were really bad. I know the final score looks ok, but this game was much more competitive than the scoreboard reflects. I didn’t come out of this game feeling inspired.

At the 8 minute time out, UK up by 13. Pope came out with Butler, Oweh, Brea, Williams and Garrison. Over the next 2 and a half minutes, that lineup played the best basketball I have seen out of this team in a month. That lineup built the lead to 23 and the Cats led by 23 at the 4 minute timeout.

Yep. Up until then it was a slog, but that stretch put it out of reach.

Cats had 19 assists and 9 turnovers.

Brea had a very nice, efficient game today. Only 10 points but 6 assists, 0 turnovers, 5 rebounds and a steal. He also had the most minutes played today, 30 minutes.

19 assists!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that stat line alone!!

Good win! Still the overall same issues, but it’s nice to get a win in this one.

They're averaging 18 assists per game so far this season.  Nothing unusual here.

I think on any given night there could be a lineup of 7 or 8 guys that get how together and carry the cats.  I think when Pope has everyone at his disposal, he is good at "reading the game" and getting to a lineup in the second half of "hot" guys that are playing well together.  Obviously Carr and Robinson can be put in that mix of guys who could be playing well...

Very True, BUT in the 2 losses against Vandy & Arkansas we only had 11 Assists in each of those game.

I am just stating that it was nice to get back to the "usual" High Assist figure!
