I agree with all of that and if I were in charge at CovCath I would be very cautious about adding a 10th game.  No way would I add another "GCL South Like" team to the schedule.

Agreed, that would be really dumb, we just don't have the enrollment numbers for that. You want to be healthy for the playoff run, especially when you run your QB so much, and sticking in another high quality opponent in week 10 would do more harm than good if you want to win a state title. 

I'd love to annually have the bye week before Highlands every year like what Saban did at Bama with LSU.

Your response made me laugh. ? I was wondering if we would get a QB run in the post. ?

I like the bye before Highlands too but I would think scheduling that way long term would be much easier said that done.

More about making sure Cash is healthy for the playoffs...because if he isn't, we are getting bounced in round 2 or 3.

Bryan Station and Pikeville both have Week 11 open and Pikeville also has Week 6 open ?

Played knothole baseball with Andy. I also see his older brother everyday walking all over the place in Edgewood.

I doubt Pikeville would want any part of CCH this year.  I know they played in 2022, but that was a state champion Pikeville team and an early exit CovCath team.

Now if Bryan Station needs a game, I think both schools should explore the possibilities.

Week 2 (8/29): at Elder

Week 3 (9/5): at Simon Kenton

Week 4 (9/12): vs. Dixie

Week 5 (9/19): at Beechwood

Week 6 (9/26): Open

Week 7 (10/3): at Highlands

Week 8 (10/10): vs. Indy Cathedral

Week 9 (10/17): vs. Harrison County

Week 10 (10/24): at Mason County

Week 11 (10/31): Open

Anderson Ohio or Taft would be a good game for them.

I am not sure about Taft but no way on Anderson, they are too good to be an addition to that already tough schedule.
