Michigan 13 Ohio State 10

Final what an upset they were 23.5 underdog and beat the Buckeyes for the 4th straight time. I guess it maybe worse being a Buckeye fan than a Kentucky football fan. lol

I guess that depends. Aren't the Buckeyes still likely to make the CFP?

It was my understanding that beating Michigan was more important.

Yes, but if Penn State can beat 4-7 Maryland at home later today, they will go play Oregon now in the Big 10 title game.

Michigan tried planting their flag at midfield and fight broke out. In interview of Michigan player afterwards he said they need to learn how to lose. Lol.

An abysmal effort against a very average team for TOSU.

The best effort OSU made all day to “protect this house” was fighting after the game.

I'd say it's 1A and 1B in terms of winning a national championship. So if they were to win a title, it would keep Day safe.

Rinse, lather, repeat.

I think they will still make the playoffs, so why upset the applecart now?

This didn’t surprise me. As an overall team, Michigan isn’t very good but they are good defensively. After the game between Indiana and Michigan I thought then that Michigan could beat Ohio State, which happened. And Ryan Day’s coaching against them has not been good.

"Police eventually used pepper spray to quash the scuffle that lasted roughly five minutes. Players and coaches from both sides were left bloodied from the pushing and shoving. As the Wolverines gathered on the Block O logo in celebration, several Ohio State players rushed in throwing punches. Michigan players punched back."

I wonder if the police pepper sprayed everyone or just the Wolverines.

I've read players from both sides were pepper sprayed. It also sound like police from Michigan on their sideline used pepper spray as well to disperse the crowd.

Both schools were fined $100K for the post game brawl.  For athletic departments that rake in millions, this is nothing.   If conferences want us to know they are just pretending to take this stuff seriously, then they are doing an excellent job.  Unfortunately is going to take someone getting seriously hurt or killed for them to really care.
