If Morris plays to his potential down the stretch, UK is going to be relying on Jared Carter at the 5 next season, on pretty limited experience.

That is going to be horrible. I can't wait.:fight: He has a lot of work to do this season and the off season.

I wll not be suprised either way, but I have a feeling that he will come back for his last year.

The interesting thing with Morris is that he doesn't have until a set date to decide. He could go into the beginning of the Fall 07' semester with every intention of playing at UK, then get a call from an NBA team who is in need of a big body.

 

Personally I think he has been way too inconsistent to garner much $$ or a guarranteed contract. He's back IMO.

IMO he will return, there are to many good players that will be in this draft for Morris to go very high. If he is not in the first round he should come back and improve his stock.

I dont think alot of people understand that part of it, that he is NBA free agent right now and there is no more draft for him...I honestly dont think he will be back, I honestly think he will be gone as soon as the college season is over...

I don't see him coming back, he needs to improve his game but so do the other 60 draftees.

Really depends on how he performs in the NCAA tourney. If he has 1-2 hot games, he's gone.

As long as he's not upset with anything around the team or school then I'd say he's back for sure next season. Also next season looks bright with all of this young talent and I'd think he may recognize that and what a long run in the tourney next year could do for his draft status.

But if Durant, Oden, McRoberts, Hawes etc. come out, then the need for Randolph would decrease, meaning he'd be most likely be offered a smaller contract.

 

What I am interested about is when he goes pro, what happens? Does he go pro immediately after the college season, before the draft? Or do NBA teams wait to see the draft order and sign him after they get their draft picks.

That is what I think will happen. As soon as the season is over, I expect some team would be interested in adding him, and I really think he will take it if a team offers to pick him up as soon as the season is over...
