Are there still some out there who think he'll leave before the college season is over?

No way he leaves before the end of the season. He's already made on huge mistake by declaring, what team wants to invest in a player that's ultra selfish?

What I am interested about is when he goes pro, what happens? Does he go pro immediately after the college season, before the draft? Or do NBA teams wait to see the draft order and sign him after they get their draft picks.

I too am interested to see how it pans out. I have a hard time believing an NBA team would pick him up in April (or whenever) and try to teach him an offense and give him any kind of minutes this season. I would guess the only way he leaves would be after the NBA season. His college performances are now his NBA tryouts... not exactly top shelf performances as of late. I guess a lot depends on what kind of money is going to settle for.

I am hoping that he will return . In a way I feel that he learned his lesson so to speak when he tried that before and I am not sure if he is ready now. Like another poster has mentioned it really wouldn't shock me if he goes but my gut feeling is that he will return next season.

That may be a bad question :lol: , imo anyone in the NBA can, will and does invest in selfish players on a daily basis . The NBA is full of them. JMO.

Morris cannot enter the draft. He is now and forever an NBA free agent.

Which is a tough thing for UK since he doesnt have to "declare". He can just be gone ,even the day before the season starts.

Thanks, I had forget about his situation and that he could leave at anytime. He actually is in better shape as far as going anywhere in the NBA or elsewhere than the majority of the college players.

If he plays like he has in SEC play he will be back. If he picks it up some, who knows?

He has said many times this year when asked the pro question, " I am going stay at UK all 4 years and get my degree". It was agreed upon by both he and his parents that the degree comes first in case there is no pro ball.

A team that is out of the playoff race might. I mean if they are not going to be in the playoffs, then why not try to sign a guy like Morris right after the season, instead of waiting. Because they could get him for alot cheaper than waiting for him after next years season, and they also would get the chance to see how he performs in NBA games to end the season, so they know what they are looking at for next season. I know if I was a GM of a team that wasn't going to the playoffs, I would definitely look hard at trying to sign Morris as soon as the college season is over. And well I think if he does get an offer Morris would be gone...
