Chiefs 26 Bengals 25

Final. That is just terrible loss. Played so well the offense just can't give Mahomes that much time he will beat you every time no matter how he plays! Bengals are now 0-3 for the 3rd straight season and are now 0-6 in 2nd week games under Zac Taylor. We had 1 too many FG's in the redzone. On a positive that was much better than last week, but you don't get anything for that. Next up the Commanders at Cincy next Monday night!

I usually don't complain about officiating but it was atrocious against the Bengals in this game.

Said it before the ball was snapped, TERRIBLE defensive strategy by Anarumo to just rush 3, he’s used to that now and just runs around and finds somebody, just terrible!!

I hate the Chiefs to my core.

The only way you can beat KC at home is to blow them out. The NFL isn't going to let them lose.

If there are  TDs and not FGs, Cincy wins this thing comfortably.   Defense played really well.  Offense just needs to finish.

Officiating wasn’t great but I place the blame of this loss on Chase. He very well stopped a drive that could have been a touchdown. The other receivers and tight ends were way more productive today.

On another positive note, the Bengals were far better from the line of scrimmage today and the running game is looking solid.

Good news for the Bengals is the division is still wide open.  Ravens are 0-2, Browns are 1-1, and Steelers are 2-0.  However, the Browns and Steelers have major offensive problems.  The Steelers look like the University of Iowa from last year has been transplanted into the NFL.

I just caught the last few minutes of this one, so I don't know what happened prior to the last 5 or 6 minutes. That said, I see Bengals fans losing their mind over the last flag, the PI. That was clearly PI, so I hope for all the belly aching about the refs that there is another game changing missed call. Because that wasn't it.

I promise there was. Chase acted a total fool and got them a 15 yard penalty that stopped a drive looking very promising for a touchdown. There was no reason for him to act how he did too.

You have to really earn an unsportsmanlike for berating an NFL referee. They get dog-cussed. We don’t know what was said, but the ref did his best to “turn the other cheek,” but Chase wasn’t having any of it and kept on with his act.

In thinking back after being away for an hour or so, I think back as well to the missed McPherson extra point. If that is made then the FG at the end is for the tie and not the win. I hope we get another shot at them in January in the playoffs.

Very true and it costed them.

My issue with that call is I can almost guarantee if it was the Bengals driving late on a 4th and long the ref doesn't throw that flag.  And it was a late flag that flew in to boot, so that's what generates the anger.

Chase flipping out did no one any favors but he appeared to be facemasked and there was no call.

If McPherson makes that extra point, the Chiefs don't go for two on their following TD. They kick the extra point and the outcome is the same. The missed extra point was a non-factor in the final score.
