At the end of the day, no one else has Quisenberry. Ask the #12 team in the nation about him. And Brown is also better than most any offensive player in the state.    There are lots of other th

  • Well that should settle that!

  • How about we settle this by switching games the last game of the season.  Boyle can play Trinity while Frederick Douglass takes on Oldham County!!!

Both, either, whatever you want to say about it @Hearsay.

Boyle County seems to be an unstoppable force right now and I think they would win a head-to-head matchup.  Basis for opinion is the normal mishmash of common opponents, clips I've seen on Hudl, etc. etc.

I still think Trinity is Kentucky's flagship football program on an annual basis.

Trinity is the flagship football program and has been for many years.  My comments were about last season and this season.  I actually believe Boyle and Corbin would have beaten Trinity last year.  Just my opinion of course.

Yes, I thought that’s what this thread was all about, right?

Absolutely.

The team that Boyle just put a running clock on rushed for 177 yards against Trinity just 10 days ago.  Station can rush for 177 but Boyle can't??  Just don't see the logic.

COULD they? Sure.

Stats are fine. But it's the same thing every year in regards to T. Every year we hear about a team that would beat Trinity because of XYZ stat yet the teams never play, OR when they do play Trinity wins. That's not isolated to Boyle County, it's been happening on this site for years.

I don't think there would be many (if any) people that would be surprised that Boyle would beat Trinity if they actually played. Boyle is an exceptional program with a distinguished track record, their success speaks for itself.

With all the bowl games that happen at the beginning of the season, more of these marquee matchups need to take place.

It's all opinion until they start to play each other regularly. That goes for the last few years. As far as flagship, it is Trinity. Period.

Thanks for sharing that @Tigerpride94 and there is probably close to 10 different groups doing Kentucky High School Football Rankings.  The landscape is way oversaturated.

Jason Frakes has Trinity #1 today. So everyone can have their own opinion. Go Rocks.

I think Jason Frakes has more creditability than most when it comes to a question like this.

I think its a tight game but I think Trinity might get them on a game of attrition if played anywhere but Boyle home field. I fully believe Corbin would have beat them at Kroger field last season but Boyle and Corbin both play out of their minds for the crowd at home and are very hard to beat.

Especially on the attrition if Boyle County played a schedule like Trinity plays every year.

As of now, I would slightly rank Boyle County ahead of Trinity and I think they were more better than that last year.  If both were to play this season, I think the hallmark would be the defenses that both teams have.  I do believe that Boyle would likely win due to Quisenberry, Brown, and their passing game.  Boyle has a strong balance with two amazing running backs and what looks to be a good passing game too.
