When's someone at CCH gonna address the 20 ton elephant in the room and acknowledge that the special teams coaching is obviously failing?

So you got me thinking and I went to Google:

What is the heaviest elephant ever weighed?

The largest elephant on record was an adult male African savanna elephant. He weighed about 24,000 pounds (10,886 kilograms) and was 13 feet (3.96 meters) tall at the shoulder!

That’s a big elephant!

Cov Cath won’t lose another regular season game…. They will be just fine in 4A until whoever they play in the Semi’s.

Cash Harney is a great player, he will have a fantastic season….

I hope you are right! ?

Not as big as the one in the Oracle's room!

SK and Beechwood might have something to say about that.

The pregame festivities were fantastic, referring, of course, to the skydivers. The new scoreboard looks terrific. Dennis Griffin was packed.

The first quarter was promising indeed, particularly due to the explosiveness of the offense; Harney was dynamic in space. The team looked completely different as compared to last week.

However, the offense sputtered and didn’t look cohesive until quite late in the second half. Even then, the playcalling left much to be desired. Harney took some huge hits and Highlands looked quite prepared for what we were calling. The trenches on this squad are not what we have witnessed during the program’s recent run, which were anchored by line play.

This team is a step back from last year, without a doubt. To be fair, when you lose as much as Cov Cath did, a drop-off is certainly not unexpected. However, when it comes to Cov Cath, shouldn’t the expectation be to reload, not rebuild? This team will not win State, but should win all of their remaining games, and especially the Beechwood game; you cannot lose to both of your biggest rivals at home during the same season. On to the next.

That right there is some Sweeperboy info lol

Anyone have an opinion on whether both teams improved from last week? Wish I could have saw this one. Cov Cath look better than they did against Ryle? Apparently Highlands came out kind of groggy but does it look like they have an identity after two weeks against good competition?

What's up with the placement of the numbers on the scoreboard? Spent all night looking for the down and distance on there. It's stacked and not in a straight line. I also think they should've left the other one in place. Maybe some competitive advantage, and I get that,  but visiting fans can't really see it from their seats. One other thing,  turn the speaker system down. I felt bad for the people on top the press box and the home crowd. Might be days before they restore their ability to hear.

We should win a game first before we start saying they won't lose again until the semis. Simon Kenton has been scoring lots of points in their 2 games so far so let's make sure we can score enough points to beat them first . CCH  doesn't really have the most high powered and exciting offense this year. So first things first, let's beat SK.

The scoreboard manufacturer is the one who made the call on the layout of down, distance, and everything else. It'll take a little bit of adjusting to, but so did getting used to the new scoreboards at Great American and Paul Brown after spending years watching the Jumbotron at Riverfront. I got used to it. The old scoreboard on the Schott Building was not compatible with the hardware and operating system for the new scoreboard, so unfortunately that couldn't stay. The placement of the new scoreboard, as I understand it, was a product of available space combined with an effort to minimize the amount of sun hitting the video screen and reducing visibility of the images on it.

As for the speakers, they're located on the front of the pressbox. So the folks up top are standing behind the speaker horns and they aren't getting blasted like you'd think. I've been up there for more than one game. It's loud, but not much louder than sitting in the top few rows of seats immediately in front of the box. I'm hoping eventually we'll get some speakers installed around the stadium instead of all mounted on top of the press box so we can change up the audio dynamics in the stadium, but right now if the speakers aren't as loud as what you heard last night, then the pressbox crew ends up getting "we can't hear you" complaints all night. Damned if you do, damned if you don't kinda thing.

Is the speaker system new this year? If not, I understand turning it up. The speaker system has been the worst part of that stadium since it was built IMO.
