I may try to make this one, but where will a guy wearing PT blue and white sit for this one? I do have connections to players from both teams these last several seasons, so I don't want anyone upset at me.

Sit just beyond one of the endzones to reinforce your neutrality and plant a Tilghman flag next to the goal post.

Well atleast we don't have a pole directly in front of our visitors side blocking 1/3 of a spectators view.

Graves County football does not get the credit it deserves.

An unproven quarterback and a head coach not named Morris has me thinking the unthinkable. I don't like to go against the Cards in these rivalry games. I've come in here several times to vote for Graves County and chickened out every time. Somebody's going to have to pull me back from the ledge or give me a little nudge.

I can't remember the last time I thought Graves genuinely had a chance to win this rivalry game, but I think they do this year.  Not a fan of Graves' stadium.  Visitor bleachers are too small.  Home bleachers are only big enough for Graves fans.  That leaves standing on the track with limited view, so I will be watching on YouTube.

Plenty of room for everyone on the home side with a good view...

Awfully quiet. Think we have two teams who know this is anyone’s game tomorrow.

Only way Graves wins this game is if they win the turnover battle by 2+ which is possible with Mayfield having Sophomores at QB and RB getting their first starts of their career.

Mayfield by 3 TDs. Close game first half. Mayfield makes adjustments at halftime. 35-14.

I love rivalries!

If Graves can get pressure on the inexperienced QB and young backfield of Mayfield then I believe Graves can win this.  Graves has a few weapons on offense with a good QB,  and Mayfield’s secondary seems their weakest link.  Will just depend if Mayfield’s dominate DLine and LB core can disrupt that.    Very interesting matchup for sure.
Prediction:  Graves 20   Mayfield 13

I'm going against conventional wisdom and picking the long suffering Eagles to pull this out. I like the make up of this Graves County team and Lincoln Acree is probably one of the best players in WKY that the rest of the state doesn't know about.

Mayfield is (supposedly) in the midst of a transition year. Graves may not get a better look at beating the Cards again for a while. Gotta strike while the iron's hot.

I'm going with Mayfield.

I've always been a results oriented kind of guy, and I will change when the facts change. Graves hasn't won this game since 2008. They consistently beat the Eagles down. Fifteen years of losing can take a large toll on a program's psych. I know some are thinking it's anyone's game but I just don't see it.

Cardinals 42-14

I agree Mayfield secondary has a couple new starters on the back end.  I assume Graves would attack them for sure.  Also think Graves stacks the box and dares Mayfield to throw the ball.  We shall see.
