  1. McCracken prevails in this offensive shoot out… I expect a high score game! McCracken 48 Graves 42
  2. McCracken didn’t score on any tough passes… The QB hit every target in stride and only where his receiver could catch it. McCrackens defense is awful, their offense won this game for them. Henderson gave everything they had and still couldn’t win. Just like the last time they met last year in playoffs… not a coincidence. Hard for a PT guy to understand, but Mustangs maybe better than you want to believe. Have to be pretty decent to overcome a defense that is that bad lol. McCracken has been in every game this season and should have won them all with exception of the PT game. PT is just on a different level than everyone this year. Hope PT and McCracken keep representing Paducah‼️
  3. Never said it was only special teams that cost McCracken that game, but it wasn’t because Apollo out played them. You can’t hardly win games where you give up two scores from special teams… those two scores alone allowed Apollo to win that game. Without them, Apollo loses by 9. Apollo didn’t force 5 turnovers, they forced 2 and 3 of the other ones McCracken gave to them by receivers not executing their assignment. Apollo had 4 turnovers also in this matchup. Yeah Apollo had nearly 400 yards of offense… but so did McCracken. Offensive output was almost identical. Again…The only real difference in this game was the mistakes on special teams. It was the deciding factor. But this thread isn’t about McCracken and Apollo and my point was to not let this game dictate how you view McCracken as a team against Mayfield based on the Apollo game alone.
  4. McCracken 34 Mayfield 20 PT played their worst game of season so far against Mayfield and still won by that much. PT’s offense left about 4-5 TD’s on the field due to missed throws, could have been much worst. McCracken lost to Apollo yes, but it was a very sloppy game with some key mistakes in special teams that was the difference in that game. Mccracken beat themselves, not the other way around. Both clubs are young and figuring things out still, so you just never know. Won’t be shocked either way. Lot of talented boys on both sidelines that are close friends, should be fun one to watch.
  5. Prediction: PT 54 Mayfield 13 I’ve said it every week… NO ONE on PT’s regular season schedule can match up to this team. I look for PT leaving starters in for the majority of this game regardless of score.
  6. PT 55 Graves 13 Graves played a great first game against a subpar Mayfield team. Doesn’t mean they can match up with PT… no one can match up with PT this year, they will score whatever they want by how many they chose this year. People will understand more when they see PT play in person.
  7. If Graves can get pressure on the inexperienced QB and young backfield of Mayfield then I believe Graves can win this. Graves has a few weapons on offense with a good QB, and Mayfield’s secondary seems their weakest link. Will just depend if Mayfield’s dominate DLine and LB core can disrupt that. Very interesting matchup for sure. Prediction: Graves 20 Mayfield 13
  8. All three of those 2A programs care good football teams, one being a state contender every year. Unless you are able to travel 3+ hours for a game, there isn’t much else to choose from. You do realize that they can’t change their schedule every year right? It’s a 2 year agreement at minimum, so even if they didn’t want to play the 2A schools they didn’t have a say so this year. But you are right, it hurts their RPI for sure. Not sure you worry about RPI when you are trying to rebuild a program back to legitimacy though. Does no good to try and rebuild and go get your head bashed in every week, have to build some confidence too. Their schedule has a good mix, with majority of schedule against programs with a history of success no matter the class. Opening the season with scrimmages against South Warren and Bullitt East this Thursday is a great start though.
  9. Hendo DLs one of the best I have seen this season. If they can stop the run and pressure the QB. I think they some away with the W.
  10. SW did have effective running game and was the difference maker. Game was closer than score reflects. MC had 3 opportunities inside their own 10 that didn't convert to points.
  11. You are going to see the QB under center more.
  12. Lawson resigned from his coordinator position as soon as the season was over.
