Kentucky at Clemson in the ACC/SEC Challenge.

Current Non-conference schedule.

Clemson, Duke, Louisville, Ohio State, Gonzaga, Western Kentucky.

Except for Louisville, Kentucky has struggled in these "marquee" out of conference games the last few years.

It would be nice to win more of them than we lose, for a change.

The University of Kentucky is increasing men's basketball tickets at Rupp Arena for the first time in five years.

The change will affect the lower bowl, chair back areas of the upper bowl, and some bleacher areas in the upper bowl, with ticket prices increasing by 5 to 25%.

I sure hope so!

For those that didn't watch or haven't heard...at the end of BBM tonight they had players come out from past title teams and past players in general. Players from each title team carried out their National Championship Trophy and placed it on a stand. Rick Pitino, in a blue UK pullover, came out with his guys and they gave him the trophy and let him place it on the stand. The crowd gave him a standing ovation as Pope came and gave him a bear hug. Rick was moved nearly to tears and you could see the emotion on his face, he was moved by the crowd reaction.

It felt kinda good to welcome him back to the UK family.

ABSOLUTELY!!  It was the perfect ending to BBM!!!  One thing I’ve learned in my life is the longer you carry around hard feelings in your heart the heavier they get

THE BEST BBM I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen them all

Hope this clip from WKYT’s Facebook page is viewable here. I could not have said it better about Kentucky basketball.

This clip I feel is awesome it couldn’t have been said better than Coach Pitino.

I personally think in the past 5 or so years we got away from what Coach said at the end of his talk to the players.

Pitino was awesome and always will be awesome!!

Like each year, I'm excited for the upcoming season. I will remain skeptical until I see how the program looks under a relatively unproven coach before drinking the kool-aid. The vibes are great, but that comes with any head-coaching culture shift.

I got my plane tickets for Seattle yesterday. So I will get my first glance at the new-look Wildcats against Gonzaga on December 7th.

Rankings mean little to nothing, especially in the preseason. But it is noteworthy #23 is the lowest UK has been ranked in the preseason polls in 17 years (2nd BCG season). Before that, you would probably have to go back to Pitino's first season.
