A lot of ego involved in these decisions. While Belichick seems great on paper, I’m not sure Jerry and Bill could co-exist, same with how Parcells didn’t work out. Same sentiment goes for Jim Harbaugh.

A different discussion, but I think Harbaugh is Charger-bound. 

Aside from the Bengals not being in the playoffs, for my rooting preferences this weekend has been very enjoyable. This Packers win is at the top of the list.

Everyone is and will focus on the Dallas side of things with this game, which is kinda of evident from this thread too. How about those Green Bay Packers? What a dismantling.

The offense has looked so much better and balanced since Aaron Jones got fully healthy. He's been on a tear the last 4 weeks. And it seems like Jordan Love is the real deal. Glad to see the D step up the last couple weeks too.

When Jerry bought the Cowboys, he gave Jimmy Johnson the keys to the Corvette and it worked.   Took a few years, but they built a powerhouse.   AND THEN....Jerry decided he was a football mind and it fell apart, quick.    Unfortunately, Jerry doesn't seem to want to give any real control back, so the cycle will continue.   No matter who the coach is.   If he and Johnson "butted heads", he and Belichick would go nuclear.

Yep.

Unlike many, I do give Jerry a lot of credit for his football acumen, especially when it comes to identifying talent. Many forget Jerry was a starting offensive lineman and team captain for Arkansas on their national title team, way back in the day. He knows football. But the culture he’s created where it is first and foremost about the show (of which he daily contributes to) has proven, over the course of nearly three decades, too much to overcome.

It was a tour de force and dismantling all around by the Packers. Management had to be up top smiling as well knowing Aaron Rodgers was watching Jordan Love succeed.

He sure looked like Aaron Rodgers on a couple of those throws, specifically the TD to Wicks.

How did you get your daughters connected with that cheerleader?

Dak is taking a lot of the criticism and rightfully so, but what happened to the defense?  This was really supposedly the strength of this team and Green Bay did whatever they wanted.  

Part of the issue I think for this defense as to why statistically they were so dominate regular season was offense gets the lead, they are a risky defense that can create turnovers especially against bad teams who are needing to throw because they are behind.  

Green Bay electing to receive instead of deferring spoke volumes......get the lead so we are not forced into situations that allow the Dallas defense to take chances.

But after that analysis I want to just say I watch the Cowboys simply to root against them and have since I can remember rooting against Danny White and Tony Dorsett.
