Alabama would never hire Prime.

But FSU would hire Prime after Alabama hires Norvell.

      Funny thing about football, especially coaches. A guy like Swinney goes 9-4 and it's the first year he's had less than ten wins in several years and he's finished. I would think Alabama contacts him.

    Kalen DeBoer canceled media appearance in Washington this morning. Some are expecting him to be named Alabama Coach as early as today. 

    Of course he could just have a cold and canceled due to that.

    If he is hired, I have strong doubts it will work. There is nothing I have seen that makes DeBoer fit at Alabama.

    It won't be at Bama, unless total chaos breaks out, but as the dominoes fall, Jimbo Fisher is going to end up somewhere.  He's a Saban assistant or record and seems to be able to talk himself into just about any job, except for Texas A&M, and FSU for sure.

    As we've all said before, no matter who the next guy is, it probably won't be good enough.  So with that said, why not hire the "young" guy that's viewed as an up and coming coach that just lost in the national championship game.  At least he can check one box off immediately, he knows what it takes to get to the national championship game.

    Paul Finebaum came on the air just now reporting that Alabama and Kalen DeBoer are as of this minute finalizing his contract to become the next head coach at Alabama.

    This has been in the works, I'd imagine.
