Defensive tackle would very much be in play for me if I was the Bengals. They need an interior pass rush, and where they are picking they could possibly get a good one. Obviously after free agency tho

If T doesn't get a long term contract, it will be because T doesn't want to be in Cincinnati. With the increase in the salary cap, the money is there for a long term deal.

  • Word now is that he's signing a 1 year deal with the Bengals.

Reports are say that Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is hiring Bengals coach for his DC.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport just reported that Cincinnati Bengals secondary coach Robert Livingston is interviewing with Sanders this Wednesday. He's expected to become the next defensive coordinator for the Buffaloes.

Not sure I'm really too upset by this.

The county approved a plan in December to replace all the club-level seats at Paycor Stadium, and workers last week began ripping out the old seats on the west club level. Some 7,600 seats are being replaced between the east and west club levels.

Of course, the odds for the 2024 Super Bowl are already out. The Bengals are tied for 6th with the Cowboys at +1500 behind the 49ers +500 followed by the Chiefs at +650 the Raves at +900 and the Lions and Bills tied for 4th at +1200.

Being a numbers guy, I was curious about WR availability.

Chase 89%; Tee 87%; Boyd 92%

This is the % of their team's games that they played in.  How does this compare to other top receivers?

Jefferson 90%; Tyreek 95%; CeeDee 99%; Diggs 93%.

I'm not saying the Bengals big 2 are injury prone, just that the first part of availability is being available.  Do the Bengals want to invest all that money in 2 players who have demonstrated that they will miss over 10% of the games?

Absolutely. What's the alternative? 100% availability from potential free agents like Marquise Brown or Darnell Mooney?

Give me Chase and Higgins 10 times out of 10.

PFF mock draft has the Bengals selecting Georgia Bulldogs tight end Brock Bowers as its 18th overall selection.

I saw that. I am good with that. I am thinking TE or OT in round 1.

Look at the teams winning and playing in Super Bowls. They have studly tight ends.

I would be EXTREMELY surprised to see him available at 18.

I saw one mock draft that had Bowers dropping to the Bengals and they said the same thing. They said he should go much higher than this but every time they do a mock draft this is where he keeps falling to. Tight ends are not a first round position. On average, only about one TE per year in round 1.

Look what happened to Michael Mayer last year. Everyone thought he was a sure first round pick.
