Defensive tackle would very much be in play for me if I was the Bengals. They need an interior pass rush, and where they are picking they could possibly get a good one. Obviously after free agency tho

If T doesn't get a long term contract, it will be because T doesn't want to be in Cincinnati. With the increase in the salary cap, the money is there for a long term deal.

  • Word now is that he's signing a 1 year deal with the Bengals.

To me it all depends on who he is replaced with.

Hopefully his targets are replaced by a quality TE.

Can't wait to see him in black and yellow.

Not worried about him if it happens. I would be happy for that he gets to play in his hometown.

The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed offensive lineman Cody Ford to a one-year contract days before he was set to become an unrestricted free agent.

Of the team’s 16 free agents heading into the weekend, Ford was one of the most obvious candidates to re-sign.

Ford joined the Bengals last year when he was the first outside free agent to officially sign with the team, agreeing to a one-year, $1.1 million contract.

Per the internet, Tee Higgins is requesting a trade.  Stated he loves Cincinnati but wants to be somewhere long term and is disappointed that the Bengals haven't tried to negotiate a long term deal.

This is not good at all in my opinion.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has requested a trade from the Cincinnati Bengals, a source confirmed to The Enquirer. The news was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

After failed negotiations a year ago with Higgins, the Bengals placed the franchise tag on Higgins a few weeks ago. If Higgins signs the tag, the Bengals will pay him a fully guaranteed $21.8 million for the 2024 season.

Contrary to the reports from the professional insiders, my insider has been telling me for a year that Higgins does not want to be in Cincinnati. None of this surprises me.

I look for a draft day trade of Higgins if there is a WR available in the draft that the Bengals can get in a trade - Higgins for the draft pick, hopefully a couple picks. For the right WR pick, I am ok trading Higgins.

Juedy got traded for a 5th and 6th round pick good luck.

Do you think Juedy is more valuable than Higgins?

Michael Pittman signing for 3 years, $71 million.

Higgins is not worth more than Pittman. The Bengals have the money to do a deal like that for Higgins. I am sticking with my info and saying Higgins doesn't want to be in Cincinnati. If he is traded, he will get a contract worth less than Pittman's unless it is a trade to the Titans.

According to reports Higgins or his agent has not heard anything from the Bengals front office for over a year. When the franchise tag was placed on him, he first heard it on the news.

In saying that even if he had not been handled right by the front office, he is an employee for the Bengals and if he doesn't want to be here then trade him and save the franchise tag. If the Bengals get a good tight end in the draft of free agency. I think the wide receiver position is heading towards the way the running back has. He has missed several games and has had some big drops in games.
