Washington drive stalls and have to settle for a FG to make it 7-3 Michigan with just under 4 minutes left in the first quarter.

Edwards with his 2nd touchdown for Michigan tonight this one 46 yards his last one was a 41 yard run. Michigan leads 14-3. Edwards has two carries for 87 yards an two touchdowns. That's a pretty good National Championship game he is averaging 43.5 yards a carry.

I love teams that are dominant running the ball, and that’ll probably be the reason I watch the whole game. Huskies have no Chance currently of stopping the run game.

Huskies must get this stop and hold Michigan to a field goal.

This was my worry for Washington. Michigan is physical and tough running the ball and on defense. I figured Penix would need a big game or that Washington’s defense would need to minimize Michigan on the ground. This could get very ugly.

Washington needed that. Michigan goes down and scores here this is over. 

That miss on 4th down will make them sick for weeks.

Washington is getting dominated on both sides of the ball so far.

Michigan getting greedy and going for it on 4th may have Washington back in the game right before half.

Boy did Washington need that after stopping Michigan on a big 4th down and gave them their best field position of the night to make it 17-10 with :42 seconds left in the first half. Washington gets the ball to start the 2nd half as well.

Much better second half to look forward to now.
