January 20, 200719 yr for the 100,000,000,001 time. Not all fans have lowered their standards... UK threads are a no way win. Some accept what we are, some know what we used to be. Can't win. Its like Repubs vs Dems. And for the 100,000,000,002 time I have never lowerd my standards. Just because people support Tubby and the team and just dont get on here to complain after a loss doesn't mean anyone has lowered their standards. I see alot of you all always say UK is not what it used to be, but seriously what are you comparing it too? Are you comparing it to the years between 96-98 because of course we are not like that anymore, NO TEAM IN THE COUNTRY is or ever will be like that again. People realize that this team needs some more things and Tubby needs to be ALOT more consistent in recruiting. But just because we dont want to complain about EVERY LITTLE THING doesn't mean anyone has lowered their standards...

January 20, 200719 yr UK just got outplayed today, nothing more, nothing less....They have played well and all this being down, no good teams, etc....:irked: I thought Morris should have touched the ball more late, but Vandy seemed to cover the paint well and extend the "D", forcing UK to shoot from the perimeter and they certainly struggled. UK has lost to two teams, two teams that have been #1....UCLA and North Carolina. A ranked Memphis team and obviously by the stat they posted on TV, a very good Vandy team, which has beaten 4 out of 5 ranked teams. Tip your hat and say well done to Vandy.....at the same time, UK just lost its first SEC game and I'm certain, the sky is not falling across the Bluegrass, just some that wish it would. Good luck next week UK and have at it, Coach Smith naysayers....
