Vandy 72 UK 67

Featured Replies

There lies the problem IMO. I can remember when a big win was a win at a top ten teams home court. Believe it or not UK used to to that from time to time, even if their talent level was down. We are in our longest dry spell from the final four in history and all of a sudden most UK fans are OK with it. This scares me.

Did I say anything about being OK with not being in the Final Four? NO!.

This UK team isn't the greatest that we have seen within the last 5 years, yet they haven't lost a game that they were supposed to until this point. UK faced UCLA (ranked #1 for a while), UNC (ranked #1 for a while), and Memphis (who obviously played thier best ball at the beginning of the season). I think coming into this season most UK fans expected this team to have growing pains, as most young teams do.

I look for the Wildcats to rebound. Florida isn't looking like "world beaters" and Tennessee is definitely beatable.

Lets see here didn't vandy just beat Tenn and Bama? Two top 25 teams.

So its ok that they have beaten us 3 straight times because they beat others teams.... are you saying we just have to live with the fact another SEC has passed us up? That sucks :irked:

Yeah, both in Nashville, you have to defend your court in the SEC.

Sorry bout the loss to the 'Dores....but yall should really go back to the prediction thread and see what yours truly called for.

I'll be giving out powerball numbers tonight for $10 a number :D

   That was a good one KT. :thumb:

College basketball is definately not what it used to be at the University of Kentucky...That's a fact.

Hmm from 1979 until 1996 One final Four! Do you go back that far? The good old days!;)

In another thread you discredit history, saying present day is all that matters. 2 of the 3 losses you speak of are history. Using your logic, they mean nothing as to the current status of UK basketball. :thumb:

So do you think the fans or the Refs won those games?

Ahh its just a game......

People like SA, Skinpig have different views on UK.......But they have that right. Later all.

Your right.. my logic says there is something called a "streak" that has carried over SADLY to this year.....believe my I wish your boy would make my logic history

for the 100,000,000,001 time.

Not all fans have lowered their standards... UK threads are a no way win. Some accept what we are, some know what we used to be. Can't win. Its like Repubs vs Dems.

First of all, I don't have any children. Second, you can't have it both ways. Either way, I think your logic is flawed.

I've ruffled enough feathers on this subject today. I'm out of here.

I mean't Tubby being your boy. Hey maybe he will put the streak out later this year?

See ya after the next loss.
