Bell County 30 Hart County 28

Congrats to Bell Co., great season for Hart Co. We all love and underdog story. It’s a good run a lot of people can talk about a long time.

The carriage turned back into a pumpkin.

I hope Hart wasn't a one hit wonder. They were a lot of fun to follow this season. One of the best stories of 2023.

Hart went up 13-6 after a touchdown early in the game and they went for two presumably to go up two scores. They failed and were left chasing that conversion the rest of the game. A fumble around the Bell County 10 also hurt them a lot. I was pulling for them to get to state. Still a great unprecedented season for the Raiders.

Exactly what I thought when watching. Just kick the field goal and go up 8.

I was at the game and we were all saying the exact same thing. No reason to go for two that early in the game. Especially knowing that Bell always goes for 2. If Hart had kicked that extra point they would have had an opportunity to tie the game at end with a 2 pt conversion.

Hart was a little loose with the ball tonight. They put it on the ground 4-5 times and were fortunate to recover all of them except the last one which ended their drive in the Redzone.

Fantastic season for Hart. Thomas for Bell Co lived up to the billing. This game for all intent was for 2nd place. Neither of these teams can compete with CAL in my opinion.

Great season from coach griffin and hart county future is bright for those guys as well.

Heck of a run Raiders!  I was pulling for you and know you gave it all you had.  Sometimes just doesn't bounce your way.  It's been a great season in Munfordville.  Should be proud of their team!

Great job and good luck next year!

Congratulations to HC on a great season. But you know what congratulations to BC for winning this game seems like the whole state was against them but they took care of business. It takes more to win a state championship then believing it’s destiny and as long as you have schools like CAL playing in 3A with a 6A roster it’s going to be hard for these type of schools to win state.

Come on man…you know classification is based on the percentage of male enrollment and nothing more. Cal is one of the smallest schools in 3A.

Compare their enrollment to how many boys they have on the football team compared to other 3A schools.

I don’t have any sour grapes I’m not a fan of either of these teams.

Just a quick glance at a few teams according to Max Preps (which is WAY off I’m sure). Cal has 56, Lex Cath 65, Hart 36 and Bell 42. 56 is greater than 36 for sure but no where near a 6A school. Real number is how many play both ways, the real mark of a non-6A power. I guarantee Cal’s number of 2 way players is the same as it’s competitors.

You need to get over your pettiness concerning Hart County and just accept the fact that Hart County was better than Glasgow this year. Your backhanded compliment was easy to see through.
