Ok, last straw, time for change(s), he’s been beat to death ever since he walked into the stadium, in my opinion you start with Pollack, GOOD O line coaches just don’t get fired as much as he has, the

I don’t know if there is a chance he comes back if they somehow make the playoffs. However, with that said you almost want them to lose out now for a higher draft pick and build for next year.

  • Like @burreaux mentioned last night, I am really concerned about the Bengals now.  The best I can tell we have way overpaid an injury prone player and it could basically "kill us" for several years.

No!!!!

Ravens have jumped from -190 to -300 to win the division.

I don’t know what will happen but I believe that their chances of better draft picks is better than making the playoffs. I don’t see much moving forward under the wins column with Browning, just don’t see it and the rest of the schedule is grueling too.

What fc said, ugh.

Ok, last straw, time for change(s), he’s been beat to death ever since he walked into the stadium, in my opinion you start with Pollack, GOOD O line coaches just don’t get fired as much as he has, then Volson is next, just don’t think you’d want a guy that has consistently graded out in the 20’s and 30’s in pass pro by PFF protecting your $250 million dollar QB, that’s the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result!

Bengals should definitely go into the tank at this point.  You can't sit all the starters because there are bonuses involved and stats to get but if I were them I'd try to play as much of my younger talent/second string talent as possible.  Might as well use the rest of the season to evaluate them while you lose and move up in the draft order.

If I were Kenny Pickett and Lamar Jackson, I'd be watching my back right now.  There seems to be something bad in the air for AFC North QBs!

I am conflicted there, there is professional sports, you can't tank.  But, it would be the best option for the Bengals.

Hopefully Burrow comes back next year better than ever but I have to think he is always going to be injury prone.

Oh, you can tank but it's not going to be deliberate.  These guys take pride in what they do so the guys in the locker room aren't going to want to lose any games for the rest of the season but the Bengals front office will not make it a priority to sign someone as the new QB.  Unfortunately the Rams grabbed Carson Wentz a few days ago.  I guess there's Joe Flacco if the Bengals actually want to try to give this a go but Flacco is pretty washed up.

I agree that Burrow is injury prone.  He just looks so small compared to these bigger guys he's playing against on defense that I shudder every time he gets sacked.

I’m with both of you. Back when Burrow got his contract that he did I said I hoped they didn’t Joey Votto themselves as the Reds did. Obviously Burrow’s contract is shorter but relates to just about as long in terms of playing football versus baseball. And I unfortunately agree about the injury prone issues, but the OL and coaches haven’t been very helpful in that regard.

I am pretty sure we will all be stoked for the start of 2024, me included, but I am somewhat pessimistic at this point about Joe Burrow and the Bengals.

This year for injuries in the NFL has been unfortunate with Aaron Rodgers, Mark Andrews, Joe Burrow, Nick Chubb and Deshaun Watson. I feel like it would be a different league completely with all those players healthy.

I share my tickets for Bengals home games with another family.  Just my luck - 3 of the 4 remaining home games are mine.  I hope the atmosphere won't be like a preseason game.  Or worse, a funeral.
